"flying saucer" could probably function. The scientists try to

of 27.36 million HP or 20.000 megawatts achievement. This achievement
would be equivalent to 2.500 jet engines by Pratt & Whitney with
11.000 HP each, those for the drive of the B-52 of long-range bomber of

The

builds itself up from an ion gun, in which neutral atoms, cesium, mercury
or xenon, by stripping an electron or several electrons from the atomic
shell into ions are predominantly transformed. These are accelerated by an
electrode system and to know a terminal velocity of 69 km/s to reach in
this way.
On
quite different principle the sunsail are based. They are to move
themselves by the wind, which is produced by the sun, in the universe. The
sun sends two kinds of wind on the way: on the one hand the light itself,
